WHAT WE DO
The Johannesburg Homelessness Network is a non-governmental organization that is committed to combating homelessness among the most vulnerable people in the city of Johannesburg. We believe that homelessness is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach to address, which is why we provide a range of services and support to those who are homeless.
Our organization operates a number of shelters throughout the city that provide a safe and comfortable place for individuals and families to stay while they work to rebuild their lives. In addition to shelter, we provide a range of other services to support those who are homeless, including counseling and mental health support, substance abuse treatment, job training and employment support, and access to medical care and other basic needs.
We also work to raise awareness about the issue of homelessness and advocate for policies and programs that address the root causes of the issue. By working with government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders, we are able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who are most in need.
