OUR MISSION
The mission of the Johannesburg Homelessness Network is to combat homelessness among the most vulnerable people in the city of Johannesburg. We believe that every person deserves a safe and secure place to call home, and that homelessness is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach to address.
Our mission is to provide a range of services and support to those who are homeless, including safe and secure shelter, counseling and mental health support, substance abuse treatment, job training and employment support, and access to medical care and other basic needs.
We are committed to addressing the root causes of homelessness, which can include poverty, mental illness, substance abuse, and lack of access to affordable housing. Through our advocacy work and partnerships with government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders, we seek to raise awareness about the issue of homelessness and advocate for policies and programs that address the root causes of the issue.
